The idea that someone could support this move so casually is so bizarre to me that my first thought is that you must have been payed to write this. Of the current mount skins are straight up re-skins, 5 of the skins have some physical alteration (except that the war-forged jackal apparently doesn’t drop form the contracts) and there seems to be zero discount granted in exchange for the gambling nature of the purchase.

When you gamble on one of these things you arent paying for the effort of their creation because zero effort went into creating them. This isn’t the financing model I’ve come to appreciate from GW2 over the years. I’m currently of the opinion that they’ve either degenerated into scum overnight or they on the verge of bankruptcy – in which case, full apologies for these unkind words. But please, if there have been comparable amounts of shit put forth by other western mmos of recent please list a few examples.
